I'm sure that now you've explained the error of his ways that he'll
reform.  We all know how persuasive an Internet posting can be; I'm sure
many of us have changed our opinions, our beliefs, our religion, nay,
even our very genetic code, after reading one of these powerfully
evocative computer-mediated epistles.

I think Cartier was close enough to French for our purposes.  As for the
Government's plot to suppress the flourishing French culture by
importing various Ukranians and so forth, I must excuse myself from
commenting, being descended from a long line of "men in sheepskin
coats".  I wonder what part of France the Selkirk Settlers came from ?

Another reason not to post on wpg.general is that for every public
posting you make, you will get 3 to 5 pieces of junk mail within hours.
The spammers and address collectors are out in force this week.  Boycott
those firms that indulge in such practices!
