LET'S QUESTION THEIR HONESTY...
Just what kind of human beings are these gun-grabbers? Some
time ago I began to notice some of these men who were leading the
fight to take away our rights seemed to be ending up being found
guilty of criminal actions. Several names that come to mind are
D'Amato, Biaggi (of cop-killer bullet fame) and Kennedy. Also the
odor of financial mis-dealings seems to hang in the air around our
gun-grabbing friends. Like Metzenbaum's questionable restaurant
sale and DiConcini's and Glenn's membership in the Keating Seven.
Speaking of Senator Glenn, we see where he just made the papers for
holding the world record presidential campaign debt. You remember,
of course, that owing $3,093,357 did prevent him from giving money
to the campaign of Lee Fisher.
And now there is the check bouncing scandal. It should
probably come as no surprise that the two biggest Ohio
congressional gun-grabbers Edward F. Feighan (D-19th) and Mary Rose
Oakar (D-20th) made the top 24 "abusers" list with 614 bad checks
between them. Both of these turkeys voted for the "crime bill" HR
3371 which called for the registration of all guns - handguns and
long guns. Even the usually anti-gun Stokes (D-21st) and Wylie
(R-15th) voted against it. Both Wylie and Stokes also admitted
writing bad checks, but Rep Feighan clearly wins the cigar with 397
bad checks and a negative balance that exceeded his next paycheck
for 8 months. While Oakar only wrote 217 bad checks, her negative
balance exceeded her next paycheck for 21 months. Wylie, on the
other hand, wrote 575 bad checks, (he claims 44 were not overdrafts
but bank mistakes...well excuse me!) but he says he never exceeded
his next monthly paycheck.
Hey, anyone can write a bad check. I have had it happen to me
by not paying attention to my balance. But writing hundreds of
them, to me, says something important about a person's honesty and
integrity. There are those who like to say that the "gun control
issue" is just a discussion between honest persons of differing
views. However, as more and more actions of our elected
representatives come to light it seems to me that the evidence
favors a view that it is more about a contest between honest
citizens and those who favor a dishonest way of life.
What more can I say? There is a very important election
coming up this fall and each and every voter should ask themselves
if these are the kind of politicians you want in control of your
tax dollars, your rights and your life.
