It takes only a minute.

When a disaster strikes, any where in the world, our first reaction is t=
o send help, support and money. When Christmas arrives, we celebrate, gi=
ve gifts to family and friends, spend and give money all around. When s=
omeone in particular is in need, we normally turn our head and look the =
other way. Often our first reaction is "if he needs money, he only has =
to do like us: go to work". But have you ever thing that it might happe=
n to you one day? In this Holiday period, let me tell you a small story
=

Once upon a time there was this family of 5. The dad, that we will call =
Pierre is now 55 years old, married to Danielle, and father of 5 childre=
n. Around 10 years ago, while, like most of us, he was enjoying life an=
d family. Always available to his family and friends. He was always the =
first to volunteer, even if it required canceling his own projects.
Suddenly and without previous notice, he had heart problems. A dilated c=
ardiomyopathy was detected and also severe arrhythmia causing loss of co=
nscience. A defibrillator was implanted. He was than still able to perfo=
rm some of his work, but had to reduce many activities.
Slowly over the years the situation degraded. Pierre became unable to pe=
rform full weeks of work. In May 2003, he was ordered to stop working a=
nd stop driving a car. He was by now taken 10 different medications, few=
of them with strong side effect. But this was the price to pay to keep =
living. Unfortunately, Pierre did not have long-term salary insurance an=
d because of his heart condition was not eligible to any type of persona=
l insurance. So the family started to use the money put away for retirem=
ent to survive. Pierre, being too proud to ask for help, cheats on docto=
r prescription and undertook some small contracts within and sometime ov=
er his physical capacities.

In July 2004, not feeling well, the doctors investigate again and find t=
hat Pierre now have problem with his thyroid gland. The problem was dir=
ectly cause by one of my medication called Amioderone (Cordarone). Pierr=
e was than facing 2 choices either stopping Amioderone and suffering mor=
e severe arrhythmia attack or taking a new medication over and above his=
actual 10 drugs. He decided to take that new medication and to live wit=
h the new restriction cause by the thyroid gland. Amioderone has also a=
nd other unpleasant side effect. His eye view went from 30/40 to less th=
at 20/40 after correction with glasses.
He was than totally unable to work and needed someone to stay with him. =
So Danielle, his dear wife quit her part-time job. The family became to=
tally without revenues. It didn't take too long that retirement money wa=
s gone. The family maximized the use of credit cards, credit margins, b=
riefly anywhere they were able to get legally money. Even the children s=
upport financially. Every penny was use to survive.

In November 2005, feeling dizzy, Pierre went back to the hospital, expec=
ting that it was again side effect of medication. Instead, he learned, =
after few tests, that I had advanced cancer and because of his heart con=
dition, there is not much to be done.

November was definitely not this family's month. Over and above his heal=
th situation, the bank notify them that they had until January 8 2006 to=
bring my mortgage up to date ($9,948.76) otherwise they will take the h=
ouse back. Copy of that letter was also send to the city and now they a=
re after their $5,746.29 of taxes that that was not paid because lack of=
revenues and the city now wants to seize the house by early 2006. The p=
ower company also want their $5428.31 and MasterCard want their $14 420.=
30
Adding up with the other small amounts due left and right the family nee=
ds a little over $38,696.07 plus all the monthly purchases of medication=
. This year will be a very sad Christmas for this family and 2006 does =
not look too bright either.
The family is now on welfare support and totaling revenues of $1085.49 =
per month, which is the maximum allowance from welfare. For the first t=
ime in Pierre's life, this year instead of giving to food bank for Chris=
tmas, he will be on the list of receiver. That is tough on the ego. What=
did they do wrong in the past? They all believe in God, there is plent=
y of love in the family, all members are always available to help others=
. What else did they miss?
A friend in need is a friend indeed as we normally say. Unfortunately, w=
e are not friends but total strangers. Should that make a difference?
It is a coincidence that all of this arrives around Christmas time, tim=
e of the year your are solicited by everyone and every organization to h=
elp. And here we have this desperate family popping up from nowhere and =
asking for your help and sympathy. What can you do to help them? Aski=
ng for charity is really tough, but this family does not have too many a=
lternatives.
To make things worst, we are in a period where you probably receive dail=
y e-mail from people from foreign countries asking for your help to move=
fortunes out and prepare to give you your percentage for your help. Why=
would this request be different or a new type of fraud? First you have =
to trust us. Secondly, as you will see in the header and all the persona=
l information provided can be easily verified. We repeat again, this is=
not a trick, a scam, a trap or fraudulent operation from fly by night o=
rganization. We can support and prove each and every line of this text. =
The name, address and phone numbers are real and can be verify on the I=
nternet using any reverse phone number database. Need medical or other p=
roof? Send an email and we will gladly send you copies of official repor=
ts.

If you feel that you can give a donation, regardless of the amount, plea=
se do so. We are not trying to take advantage, we simply want to survive=
. Our total need is $38,696.07. Why not looking in your wallet for few =
dollars bills and send them in a Christmas card with a personal touch or=
 word?
We also have an alternative. We have on hand 50 beautiful, brand new (in=
original box) exclusive handmade blown glass products such a vases, pla=
tes, candleholders and many more. We bought that a year ago, trying to s=
ell them over the Internet. They are piece of art. We can sell them to y=
ou for $250.00 each. Are they worth that much money? No. Normal retail=
price, depending on the items is ranging between $150 and $275. You wi=
ll obviously over paid for the product, but at least you will have in re=
turn not only the satisfaction of helping someone in need, but also to a=
cquire a beautiful and exclusive piece of art. Products will be ship, i=
n unopened box at random. We cannot guarantee you will receive a special=
model or color, but we can guarantee you will be pleased.
Ten (10) of those piece of art will also be draw on January 15 2006 betw=
een all givers.

Please send either your donation in a Christmas card with your whishes o=
r $2500.00 or more (for glassware) to:
