   A lot of companies are beginning to accept checks and money orders again.
I think they are finally realizing people simply don't have credit cards or
do not care to give it to too many honest companies because it increases the
odds of a dishonest employee misusing the info.
If there is a way to contact the source of what you are looking for try
asking if they will do it that way.  Sometimes they just don't advertise
that they will.  Be prepared for it to take longer as some will make you
wait till a check clears.
