This sounds like a real Emmy Award(tm) winner.

C'mon, we live in America here.  Although they are trying to take our
freedoms from us one by one, they have not yet gotten to this one.  It's
legal to own a descrambler.  What you do with it, on the other hand, I
don't want to hear about.  ;)


If you're really a cable television auditor and really think it's
illegal to own a descrambler, then you're either (a) on the take, (b)
working for a cable company that's on the take, or (c) an idiot.  Not
necessarily in that order.
