Dude.  Using them isn't illegal.  It's using them _illegally_ that's
illegal.  If you can understand that...

In other words, one can use the Black Box (r) to receive and descramble
the Local Cable Company's signal, as long as the Company knows about it
and the person is paying for the signal.  If both of these conditions
are not met, then the person is guilty of theft of Information Services
and should be burned at the stake.  ;)
