So, If they and all the big cable networks can do naughty things . well well well sound like a free for all , to decode ill gotten tech. Well , maybe two wrongs don't make a right. I don't decode , just a bunch of redundant over priced feed anyways. >Well looks like we've been busted... <G> I don't see how it's so great >to have all these channels, you know that one has gotta be running the >same show as the other. And then use the T.V. down stairs in a foil lined room. Well, then electron emitions off the screen would be unreadable , even with a big parabolic dish on top of a snooper--van parked out side of your house. But , how about record and play back later , just recording the thing wouldn't give off much emitions. Then play later , how could they catch you in the act. -- unless they raided your collection and looked for station codes on your video. Hey, I bet Active matrixe LCD emitions are real low . I 'hate' the cable company , because they're so greedy . Worse then the tele-co.s , worse than any ISP. or D.SAT Hey, if I new of a real cheap way to put internet on to cable, about 100 times better then what they are proposing , do you thing I'd tell them anything . No way , not with out all kinds of patent lawyers in many contries . Nope , I don't thing they'll get the tech they need , with out paying lots and lots of money. Any inventors are going to give the cable providers a real run for their money. The legal fees alone to protect their inventions, well well well , its going to drive the cost up up up. Hey, don't give em any ideas unless they give you a shit load of cash up front. ( OR, better yet only to non-profit , cable.) Duncan
