Philip Bevan, you said this about BJ200 & Rnd dot stereograms:
>Help ....
>I'v screwwed up my printer (a Cannon BJ200)
>I was using Cannon Studio (shareware) to try and print a Random Dot
>Stereogram (RDS) and now the printer wont actually print anything,
>even in test mode not connected to my Amiga 1200.
>The printer kicks into life goes through the motion of trying to print,
>the print head sounds as thoght its moving over the page but no ink
>is being put onto the paper!
>I have had this once before, also when printing a RDS. I took the thing
>to a local computer repair shop, they cleaned it and said that the
>cartride had run out of ink. It seems to me that it would be an
>incredible coincidence if it run out of ink again the next time a tried
>to print a RDS.
>Is there a way of finding out if the printer cartridge gas really run
>out of ink, other than spending 20 odd quid on buying a new cartridge?
Why not just get another cartridge? If the printer works then you're fine,
if not then you have a spare for when the printer's fixed & you *do* run
out half way through something important.
