Senior Diagnostics Engineer



In this exciting position you will work with hardware and software teams
(and customers) to develop diagnostics for settop box component verification
by helping out with diagnostics tests planning, architecture planning, and
asic component qualification. Your main responsibilities are to ensure the
components meet all relevant industry standard and are functionally correct
and to to ensure the quality of the components are robust enough for
production.



As the successful candidate you will bring with your B.Sc. or M.Sc. in
engineering, preferably in Electrical or Electronics or Computer Science,
the following skills: Familiar with C programming, experience with low level
programming (assembly and C) and embedded programming. knowledge in system
level hardware and software design, knowledge in consumer analog and digital
video, MPEG decoder (video and audio), knowledge in satellite settop box and
cable settop box software and hardware development, experience with MIPs
processor and interrupt service routines. You are also required to be
organized and methodical, have the ability to plan and execute, and able to
work under pressure.
