***Quality Assurance Engineer***



PURPOSE OF POSITION:



Under direction, the incumbent is responsible for developing, implementing
and maintaining quality policies and procedures related to design,
manufacture and repair and overhaul operations. The incumbent will also be
performing other QA functions at an intermediate level under the direction
of the Team Leader, Quality Management.



RESPONSIBILITIES:



Develop and implement policies and procedures to ISO 9001, AQAP-1 and
AQAP-13

Evaluate quality systems of suppliers

Produce quality plans in accordance with ISO 10005

Evaluate design, manufacturing and repair and overhaul quality processes in
accordance with ISO 10011

Conduct quality system and process audits of selected operations

Conduct statistical quality control and analysis

Monitor and maintaining the audit database

Provide quality assurance consulting type service to internal customers

Provide on job training on auditing to internal customers

Coordinate quality activities with other functional areas

Provide quality system direction of team members in the Quality Management
Department

Provide liaison with project or program team members on quality matters

Perform other related duties as assigned



EDUCATION:



Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or an acceptable combination of
education training and experience.



EXPERIENCE:



**Five to Eight years** experience in quality assurance. Statistical
manipulation and presentation of data. Experience in writing and controlling
procedures and documentation. Experience in conducting audits. Excellent
interpersonal communication skills.
