Dear Users,
	On Tuesday AM, Penteledata engineering will be upgrading and
overhauling the Philly POP.  ATM access, new DS3's, switches and faster
core routers will be installed.  This translates into faster, more
reliable access and new services for the entire network.  Due to the scope
of this upgrade, all dialup and commercial customers in the Philadelphia
area will see sparatic outages, some lasting over an hour.  During this
period ALL PTD users on the X-MIS network will experience noticable speed
degregation. 
	Customers experiencing problems after 8:00am should call the
Penteledata WB office @ 570-821-5964 and listen to option #1 (status
report). If the status report claims that the upgrade is finished and you
are a commercial DEDICATED line customer experiencing problems, contact
the NOC @ 570-821-5964.  If you are a dial-up customer and experiencing
problems, please contact support after 9:00am at 570-821-5964.
