Assuming that you mean "locale," not "local," can you elucidate?
Which one, specifically, is more spectacular than tha Alaska Ranges,
the Canadian Rockies between Banff and Jasper, and the Sierra Madre
Orientale, south of Tamazunchale, Mexico?  (I won't dispute you,
because beauty is a subjective thing.  It's just that I can't recall
any Colorado locales that match or exceed those in beauty, in North
America.)
