Perhaps I've just heard too many times by these private university knobs that they are far superior because they don't mingle with the public school plebs and expect the world to fall at their feet. I'm afraid that is the manner in which your original post was received. No, I don't have a chip on my shoulder, I just find public universities a far better deal.
