It is a rather snobbish assumption to think that students at a private institution are better students, workers, human beings, etc. by mere virtue of them simply being students at a private institution. Success at the university level has infinitely more to do with the individual than it does with the college of choice being a public or private institution. In fact, if Mr. Fryoux's situation is strictly financial, as he would have us believe, then he would most probably have more of a problem at a private school, since tuition is much higher. I would suggest that you re-examine the source of his difficulties, if he does have any, as your assessment of that public school's role in his current problematic situation is severely misguided.
