Ok . . . NOW I'm pissed!

Mr EPH PHD, GET A LIFE!!!!

I've already apologized ONCE to someone for having been MISUNDERSTOOD,
I will not do so again. You want to talk about PRETENSIOUS?!?!? I
submit that it is YOU who are pretensious, and a self-absorbed prig!

If you had bothered to actually READ what I wrote, you would have seen
that your vitriol was totally uncalled for! I am POSTING this
analysis, as well as e-mailing it, in order to preclude any OTHER
ostentatious, arrogant asses such as yourself from posting this sort
of stupidity:

OK . . . I admit, it MAY be difficult to see the implied irony at this
point . . .

Here, I demonstrate that one need not beg for money from complete
strangers to finance one's tuition, as the original poster did.

Note carefully that there are TWO choices in the following. I've
already set up the OBVIOUS answer to my question:

>>I guess it's true, either the public universities are but a pale
>>imitation of REAL universities, or this guy needs to stop by Sears,
>>and buy himself some intestinal fortitude . . .

Here we see the two proffered possibilities:

1. Private Universities are better than public
(not verified in the "supporting briefs")

2. This guy is a "gutless wonder"
(overwhelmingly supported in the "supporting briefs")

The OBVIOUS answer that I was seeking was #2 - as supported by my
initial statements.

>>Can I hear comments
>>from my State University Brothers? Which do YOU think it is?

Here, I request an "AMEN" from those who have gone to State Schools
that the original poster was a boorish beggar with no "intestinal
fortitude" (apparently, the epithet "brother" was also lost on EPH PHD
in his zeal to find some evidence of derision on my part). I thought
the answer was obvious, and based on the e-mails I got, so did most
other people.

>>:) :) :)

Here, the symbol ( :) :) :) ) SHOULD have indicated to Mr EPH that
this post was largely tongue-in-cheek. He OBVIOUSLY missed this, too.

His own reply (see paragraph #1 in his reply, below) vindicates what
SHOULD have been my OBVIOUS sentiment in the original posting: That
choice #1 was NOT the right one, but #2 (the "Gutless Wonder" theory)
fit the bill nicely!

I have two recommendations for EPH PHD:

1. I know a surgeon who could excise that huge CHIP you have growing
on your shoulder, or:

2. Go back to UC, and take some courses in the Humanities . . . maybe
you can begin to understand ENGLISH!

***the entire response from EPH PHD is duplicated below so you can see
WHY I became so acrimonious***
