Hello. I have a Dell PC with Windows98 SE loaded. It has been working fine
for two years. As of last week, my system resources (System/GDI) keep
running out. This happens numerous times a day, requiring reboots.

However, NOTHING has changed. There was no software which was upgraded,
reconfigured, or installed when this happened. It just started happening
out of nowhere. Desktop wallpaper & Icons not changed either.

I played with each app individually to see if maybe one had a memory leak -
no luck, they all worked fine.

I tend to have most of these apps open all the time, although it never
caused a resource problem before:

Outlook2000, Word2000, InfoSelect(PIM), 2 instances of IE5.

It it matters, I have two monitors hooked up.

Microsoft Knowledge Base and Newsgroups search - I couldn't find much.

Does anyone know why this happened, or what I can do to fix it?

Thank you. Any information leading to the solution to my annoying problem
will win you a large, red truck full of gratitude. (Truck driver named
"Zeek", if it matters.)

-Mike
