Honored Grinch !
I am betastar's fiance, and have taken the freedom
to silently read the posts in this newsgroup. But
after your latest post I saw a need to break my
silence and adress you directly.
When I read your insulting letter my first reaction was to
put on my heaviest boot and kick your ass quite nicely.
But then I decided to find out more about you, so I read all
posts which you have made to this NG during the last week.
I found out:
1) Your answers are helpful, competent and a valuable source of
information for the distressed people who flock around here.
2) You care for those who are here, - and I know how much the
Grinch dislikes praise, I think you have a good heart.
3) You mercilessly adress any flaws, stupidities and mistakes
and have no problem ridiculing people for having been fools.
4) You like to walk your otter at night :))
I respect you for your knowledge and accept that you see a need
to display Grinch-behavior in this NG, but I do not stand by and watch
when you insult and hurt the woman I want to marry.
Most everybody in this NG has a loved one whom he/she's seperated
from and we all know how painful and distressing this can be.
My betastar is no exception and you have added to this by using
insulting and deeply hurting words.
Do you take pleasure in hurting people Grinch ?
If so, try me on for a change ! I've been the one who thought it
necessary
to live together for a while before getting married. I was the one who
wasn't satisfied with the 7 weeks betastar and I had physically spent
with each other. If you, honored Grinch, see a need to ridicule
somebody
for not lightheartedly jumping into a marriage with somebody from
another
continent then come on Grinch, - here's somebody awaiting your foul
eggs.
Ridicule me and see if that will break me ! Pour your insults over me
and see if I hide in shame ! Yes, I have been a fool. And yes, I have
underestimated the tricks and pitfalls of INS. And yes I have brought
3 computers with me, aware of the fact that this might cause suspicion.
Had I wanted to work for US-companies, - believe me, honoured Grinch,
I would not have messed around with these lead-weighted boxes. To
buy what I needed would have been no problem for me. I happen
to be a programmer and at least 2 of these computers have been carefully
configured for a virtual private network. Something you and your otter
probably will never have a need for.
Yes, Grinch, you're right, my performance as an illegal immigrant was
poor, lousy ! Now let me tell you a secret ! Had I wanted to illegally
immigrate
into the states then nothing, - not even INS, had stopped me from doing
so !
Why did I tell folks in vienna about computer-work at all ? Why not
tell
them
I'd make a nice long US-trip with my brother ? Why bother with a B1/B2
if the visa-waiver brought me in for nice 3 months, then leave and do
the same again a few months later. Why, oh honoured Grinch, have
I not done so ? Why ? Now take your otter for a walk and come back
when you have found the answer. Maybe here's not a fool too dumb
to illegally immigrate but somebody who's intentions where good and
who had nothing to hide.
What are you here in this NG for Grinch ? Is it a power-game for you
and do you take pleasure in hurting people ? I have read your posts,
I know you want to look that way, but I don't believe you ! You are
here
to help and you do a good job with it. That you see a need to play
or be the Grinch in your life is something that's only your business.
I don't want your friendship Grinch, and I won't sing praises to you
but to me you are good-hearted man, who likes to play the fucked
up asshole at times. The internet is big and wide and there are
all kinds of people out there. So why not a helper with the looks
of an otter-friend :) ?
BUT, oh Grinch of mine, and I mean it ! If you want to ridicule and
humiliate somebody then you'd better leave my betastar alone
and try me on for a change ! She's a woman in distress and may
break down under your blows, but here is a target that will not
move when you throw those insults at it.
Leave my woman alone and take me on if you want, -
or forget about the whole thing and ignore us.
Or try to help us reach what everybody in this NG
wants, - come together with the one you love !
Now take your pick oh dear Grinch !
