The SLIP protocol is not supported by our new v.90 dial-in numbers.  As
the old numbers get phased out, SLIP support will be completely phased
out too.  PPP will continue to be supported, as will straight terminal
logins into the UNIX shell.

If you are a SLIP user, please convert to PPP as soon as possible.  The
phase-out of those remaining dial-in numbers that are listed as
UNSUPPORTED can occur at very brief notice.
