Uh, Rahul, two things.  First, while I'd be willing to test this just
to rule it out, once, I don't have the time or tools to do this kind
of hand-stands for moderating a relatively high-volume newsgroup.
SRI gets from forty to eighty posts every 24 hours -- posting one
post at a time every five minutes from PPP, even assuming I could find
a PPP newsreader that would not nuke the necessary headers, isn't
in the realm of practical politics.

Second, if this were the case, I should have had the same problem
when I posted the same posts from Best.  I didn't -- they propogated
immediately and all the people who hadn't gotten their posts for
several days got them all within an hour or two.

Needless to say, I haven't been having this kind of trouble from
my account here in the past.  An occasional missed post, yes.  But
not entire batches....

Could one of Rahul.net's immediate upstream NNTP sites be cancelling
posts like this and not have notified you.  If so, this site isn't
going to be much use for those of us who moderate newsgroups. :(
