It has happened that I would get Not enough Memory to start Console and it wouldn't let anyone log on. On their end it usually says Dial-up Networking could not negotiate a compatible set of networking protocols. The only recourse was to reboot. The other night my mica's started to report Modem Unavailable and Resources not available. The phone company had to go in and busy out a trunk and then people started getting in. I did a mica reset and all that jazz, I was about to reboot the whole system but in the morning it mysteriously cleared up. I'm thinking that there wasn't enough memory or something and that was another reason to get more memory.
