IMPORTANT NOTICE:
The Online Beginner's Guide To The IWay is now available
on the CalNet On the IWay site at:

It is available in two versions, a simple jpeg version and 
and enhanced PowerPoint animation version. To use the PowerPoint

1.0 CalNet News
	
	This month CalNet presents Exploring Microsoft's Internet
Products with special guests Microsoft Canada. The date is Thursday 
Dec.19 at 7:00 PM in the main auditorium of the Alberta 
Vocational College, 332 6 Ave. S.E. We are opening the doors to
everyone and there will be no admission charge - that's right
this is a free show. Seating is first come, first served.
Doors will open at approx. 6:40. Don't miss it, and tell your
friends.

2.1 RealAudio.

	Realaudio has been around for a while now but with the
new 3.0 beta the sound quality is vastly improved. The new version
offers stereo and near CD quality, it has to be heard to be

2.2 Liquid Audio

	A new company called Liquid Audio has released an alpha
version of their new Liquid MusicPlayer. This product delivers high
quality music via the Internet utilizing Dolby technology. The player
also allows the user to view album credits, lyrics, etc. like a store
bought CD. The sound has to be heard to be believed, high quality
streaming audio on the Internet is now a reality. To download the player

ouch while small grey piegon type birds use your head as a public
latrine whilst you are trying to eat fish and chips wrapped in a
newspaper where the front page story is about a weird new malady
caused by a particularly bad tasting cough syrup that causes people
to talk in run on sentences and blather in meaningless pantomine.
