Conservative Party dead before it gets off the Ground...

Despite the desperate attempts of the Right Wing idiots
of Canada attempting to gain support for the new Conservative
Party, it is well known throughout Canada that the Mulroney
era is still fresh on a lot of people's minds.

Therefore, this next election will effectively destroy the
New Federal Conservative Party of Canada as we know it.

Good bye, and good luck to you at Global News, that are
hoping for Conservative Victory...

It will probably be the last right-wing party to exist in
Canada until the next election...

Which also means, you no longer have any friends...

So you think a good Government is one with no oppostion. You sound very
trusting. You must pay all your bills with a blank cheque.

Uh, nope.

I think a good government requires balance, and a healthy sized
opposition, populated by some real people, not people with
only a political agenda of getting re-elected.

If government is to be effective, it is to employ a moderate
or liberal amount of common sense.

Unfortunately, Mulroney and the Conservative Party
had neither, and are making the Country pay for it now.

Had someone had the balls and plainly stated to Mulroney what
he was doing was simply wrong, and stopped a few things...

[ Oh, lets start with NAFTA, the GST, 600 Billion in deficit
spending and nothing to show for it ]

Canada would not be in mess it is now.

Get the point?

are died in the wool liberal supporters and next day, conservative
reporters. Situational judgement?

The political confusion you deplore has been at the center of the
colonial failure of that dictatorial fraction of the Anglo-Saxon race
since 1842. Not to mention who cause Upper Canada's bankruptcy...!

Lord Durham saw it, and described it in his writings as a major
weakness when he admired Papineau's extraordinary political abilities
at handling a British Parliamentary system out of intellectual reach
to British merchants who were just busied looting and raiding to kill
all the aboriginals who would not summit to their slavery dictum.

This is to inform the ignorant who use as ultimate defense of the
Empire the fact that it left behind a Parliamentary system. It stayed
behind BECAUSE aboriginals were better at turning it to their own
advantahe then ever were the colonial scums, Great Britain sprinkled
the colonial world to crush Natives with it.

No where is it still best demonstrated why NOT a single statesman ever
emerged from this colonial midget the Dominion of Canada insists to
ramain. Those that knew to be of that caliber moved back to England,
Scotland and Ireland to perform at best !

And good point at that. But the question remains "how do we do that?" The
present Government is not emmune from the same problems. There is no
opposition being represented at this time. There isn't much time left to
create a new party to represent a true opposition.

Why bother? The Liberals are doing a fair job. Let them continue.

Again with no opposition. The Librals have to get a map out to remember
where this province of British Columbia is. A federal Government, by all
rights, should represent those Provinces that cost them long distant
phone charges as well. Canada has 10 provinces and 2 territories not
just 2.

Dave,

I guess with your post, why should we even argue with you?

You have spelled out your loyalty. You are obviously a naive and sheepish
person who will blindly follow the your chosen leader despite how corrupt he
is.

I guess I should applaud your loyalty, as misguided and ignorant as you
quite evidently are.

But enjoy life in the dark, Dave. For it will continue to be a blissful
existence.
