We have an immediate perm opening with our client in Richardson,
Texas...just minutes north of Dallas for the following:

Developer/Support - maintain and support application software on a
UNIX-based Service Control Point (SCP) and Intelligent Peripheral (IP)
platform. Work in a development and support group environment following ISO
9001 design and development methodologies, source control procedures, and
high quality test practices. Interact with customer support staff,
customers, project mgrs, system engineers, developers, and testers to
troubleshoot and isolate the source of problems to well-confined areas of
code. Make corrections to the code and work with testers and customer
support to verify and implement the fix. The applications range from
traditional SCP call processing, to call treatment applications, debit card
and personal services applications and other IP-based applications.
Requirements: Candidate needs a Bachelor's degree in computer science,
electrical engineering, or related field. Candidate must have at least 2 yrs
development experience in a large group environment and must have object
oriented development experience with C++ and UNIX. Candidate should have
development experience on telecom-based systems and understand telephony
principles. Experience developing database applications also a plus as well
as working with customers and customer support. Familiarity with SS7.
Base Pay: $50,000 - $70,000/Year depending on experience.
