Hi Don't know whether this is the place to ask - not one of my usual news group - thought I'd try though. Problem - I work on electronic documents, making up in Front Page - these are finally run through IE4 in a file:/// mode. I find all too often however that unused links (usually default blue) often and without any pattern show up as "visited" when they haven't been. Sometimes I can open the document in IE4 and all looks good - other times, there are "visited" links all over the shop. So - is this a consequence of running Front Page generated stuff in file:/// mode, or is there a problem in IE4 you've found that's similar? All source code chechs out OK, and Java content is there but modest. Any thoughts appreciated if there's anyone there who can comment. Chris chrisbeglin@acbsystems.demon.co.uk
