I work as a junior Software engineer at a tempreture controll comapny in the
south, I'am currently working on
a project that Requires a windows (3.1,95.NT) communication program, using
the companies comms protocols, It has been put to me that I should write the
program as a DLL, Incoprating DDE Dynamic Data Exchange, I'am Farley new to
windows programming,

So does any one no any good books that help explain DDE, and windows serial
commincations,
I've also come across C.O.M Component Object Model, is this the New DDE or
is it better.

Thanks for helping with my Research!!

Richard.
