Quantum Magnetics (QM) a small, dynamic San Diego R&D Company, develops and
commercializes advanced magnetic resonance technologies for inspection,
detection, and analysis. We utilize state-of-the-art nuclear quadrupole
resonance (NQR) to develop advanced explosives detection systems for airline
security and landmine detection. QM also develops innovative low field NMR
systems and passive magnetic sensors. Headquartered in San Diego, QM is a
wholly owned subsidiary of InVision Technologies. Visit our website at
www.qm.com.

Quantum Magnetics has open positions in the following areas:

Research and Development Scientist and Engineers - PhD, MS and BS: R&D
efforts in NMR, NQR, MRI and low frequency (< 20 MHz) magnetics. Requires
hands on experience in hardware design & maintenance, as well as RF and
analog electronics test equipment. Experience in NQR, signal processing,
spectrometer systems design, cryogenic electronics, modeling and simulation
is desirable.

Spectrometer Software Developers - PhD, MS and BS: Software development for
QM's custom spectrometer systems. Specifically spectrometer control, signal
processing and user interfaces. Requires experience in C/C++ programming.
Experience in spectrometer software development, hardware drivers, user
interfaces, signal processing, and scientific programming is desirable.

Low Frequency RF Antenna and Receiver Designers - PhD, MS and BS: Develop
low frequency (< 20 MHz ) electronics systems and near field
detection/transmission antennas for research and development projects.
Build, model, design and test receiver chains, receiver protect circuits,
large NMR/NQR coils, and associated RF electronics.

Low Frequency RF Engineers - PhD, MS and BS: Develop preamplifiers, power
amplifiers, receiver protection circuits, radio-frequency synthesis and RF
tuner boards (analog or digital). Experience with very low noise
preamplifiers and low frequency RF electronics ( < 20 MHz ) design is
desired.
