Hi,

I am "Microsoft", now we just buy several Solaris from Sun. We are going to
change our platform to Unix. Can somebody tell me which is major develop
tools for Unix, especially for web based application. I am going to use
Netscape Enterprise web server.

I am new to Perl too, general which tools people are using for Perl?

One specific question. I see some webs who sends greeting card, usually will
give users a url including something like random number. Is there someone
know the mechanism or if there a ready-to-use module can do this? I know it
should not be hard to do so, just curious if there are more professional
way.

Thank you very much and Kind Regards,
Ryan
