Softwrap has developed a unique turnkey digital distribution solution that is
available for free download at www.softwrap.com. This free download allows
software authors to "wrap" their applications using the Softwrap wrapper.
Wrapped applications can still be distributed using normal distribution
channels such as download sites, but Softwrap takes responsibility for the
entire back end e-commerce solution including credit card processing and fraud
control. Authors still have the ability to specify the length of the trial
period. After the trial period has elapsed users will be faced with no option,
but to buy the application should they wish to continue using it. A nice
feature includes the bought application being locked to the users machine, if
copied it reverts to the pre-purchased ie encrypted trial status. Best of all
it is so easy to use and free!
Its nice to see that there is now a way for us software developers to easily
earn revenue for our efforts instead of always giving them away!
