Product Marketing Manager
Job Code: BT105

Product Marketing is responsible for crafting and articulating the business
units' distinctive competence and the product lines unique advantages. Key
tasks include product message design and delivery, sales and technical staff
education, win-loss analysis, building and delivery of compelling product
demonstrations, authoring of product roadmaps and white papers, competitive
intelligence and marketplace analysis, and all product launch activities.

Job Specifications:
Provide the interface between Engineering and Sales & Marketing.
Assist in the strategic direction and positioning for new product launches,
including technical competitive analysis and pricing.
Perform tactical product launch activities, including crafting new product
demonstrations, feature/benefit statements, and white papers.
Provide educational material on company products, competitive products, and
the Business Intelligence marketplace to the sales and marketing staffs.
Develop content for marketing collateral, including data sheets, spec
sheets, and brochures.
Deliver compelling product presentations to sales staff, customers, and
prospects.
Job Qualifications:
2-5 years of Product Marketing, Product Management, or Technical Selling
experience with a software company.
BA / BS from an accredited institution in Business, Marketing, or Computer
Science
Technical aptitude with a variety of software products. Knowledge of SQL,
relational database concepts, JavaScript, and business intelligence software
strongly preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented, environment.
Ability to effectively manage several projects at once and prioritize action
items
Strong planning, organization, problem solving, and execution skills.
Resourceful, creative, and results-oriented person with high energy and a
positive attitude.
