Hi my name is Athanasios Taglides and I am a final year student of Computer
Science at the university of Portsmouth in England.

I am writing to ask for some advise on my final year project. I am
developing a SMS communication toolkit, in Visual Basic 6.0, which will be
able to send messages to a Mobile Terminal such as a mobile phone or a
pager. This will be done by direct calls to call centers establishing a TAP
connection.

My question is firstly, which version of the TAP protocol should I use, and
secondly if anybody knows any source of information that could help me in
writing a terminal emulator for the TAP protocol.
