Hi Marilyn;

Yes; I just start with a new blank page, and type away. It can do
tables, help you link in pages, provides headers & targets, etc; you can
also drag and drop pictures in, and it comes with a spell checker. Sort
of like a cheap word processor! As far as I know it can't do frames. 

Another easy way to get started is to copy a page from a site you like
to your own machine, then open it up in a text editor (like dos edit or
emacs) and rewrite it to suit your fancy.

BTW., I've set the followup-to field to rec.arts.fine only, so as not to
clutter other groups...
