PRESENTATION DETAILS:

"The Rational Unified Process for Software Development ...
                          ...Not Just For Managers Anymore."
by Rod Frey, Software Developer, Quadrus Development Inc.

The Rational Unified Process (RUP) maps software development projects
from inception to deployment. It is an invaluable tool for project
sponsors, clients, and managers. It is also indispensible for
technical
leads and developers. This presentation gives a birds-eye view of how
RUP and the Universal Markup Language (UML) can streamline the
detailed
design and construction phases of a software project.

Rod Frey is a developer with Quadrus Development Inc.
(http://www.quadrus.com), a software
consultancy based in Edmonton and Calgary. He specialises in Java
Technologies and fervently believes software development process can
shorten development cycles, improve quality, lower cost, and possibly
cure acne.
