If you are coming in early October, you can check out the world famous
Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, with participants from all over
the world!  The weather is great right now....Albuquerque has really nice
fall weather.  There isn't much in the way of fishin in the immediate area,
however, if you venture a couple of hours north of here, there fishing
becomes excellent (lake and river).  Any store that sells fishing licenses
will be able to direct you...you can also buy a license for the day, a
couple of days, or the whole year.  Let's see, what else...there are lots of
interesting sites to see around here, including Old Town, Santa Fe (only 58
minutes away), etc.  For those motorcycle buffs, try Montego Hills just
south of the Albuquerque city limits....you go out on I-25 until the city
limits turn to country....get off on the Broadway exit....you'll see the
trails along the hills to you left as you drive south right before you get
off on the Broadway exit.  It's a favorite for motorcrossers, motorcyclists,
hangliders, etc.  Hope this helps!
