SPACECRAFT ENGINEERING SHORT COURSE

A Short Course on Spacecraft Engineering sponsored by Unisearch
Limited is to be presented from Wednesday 23 September to Friday
25 September 1992, in conjunction with the Seventh National Space
Engineering Symposium sponsored by The National Committee on
Space Engineering of the Institution of Engineers, Australia. This Short
Course is a unique opportunity to hear lectures by Australia's leading
specialists in their respective fields. Lecturers from Optus
Communications, Auspace Limited, Aerospace Technologies of
Australia Pty Ltd, and the Australian Defence Force Academy will
present this course.

There is little doubt that Australia's Space Industry is expanding
rapidly, and that there is a need to familiarise people working or
wishing to work in space related fields with some of the more
tundamental aspects of satellite design and operation. This Course is
presented in response to that need.

The Course is general in nature and designed for persons wishing to
acquire a basic understanding of the fundamentals of satellite design and
operation. While a technical background would be an advantage,
people with non-technical backgrounds are encouraged to attend.

The Course registration fee is $1000 with a 50% reduction for students
(limited number). However, there is also an early bird registration fee
of $895 if delegates register by 21 August 1992. Please note that if
delegates register for both the Short Course and the Symposium there is
a discount of $100 offered.
