I know what is doing it! If you would like to know also, send $10 to my Paypal account, and I will fix your machine in less than 5 minutes, guaranteed! What do you mean that's Highway Robbery? You've been stumped for almost two years.. Adobe doesn't acknowledge that there is a problem, and I have spent over 3 hours on the phone with them going over my entire scenario, and they still did not have any idea what to do. PLUS, I spent three weeks on 3 systems with 3 different scanners and had to be restrained from taking a baseball bat to the whole mess on several occasions. OK, forget the $10, here's what the problem is (I had to milk it a little bit.. this hasn't been simple): You have a new system that you have set up, or you have just changed scanners, and installed the scanner software, and possibly Capture also. And now every thing you scan is scanned in in reverse order. Also, the job does not get "submitted" on the "document" tab at the first page. It doesn't start processing until the last page is scanned. (And what happens to jobs that get interrupted in the middle of the scan? It doesn't have a name yet, so it doesn't get repaired or continued when you fix the interrupt problem!) What have you done? You have installed the TWAIN driver version of the driver for your scanner! Now all you need to do is to find the ISIS version of the driver for that scanner, and *poof* your problem is fixed. This was very difficult for me with a Xerox Documate scanner that has the WIA, Twain, and Isis drivers bundled together, so I couldn't tell which one was in use (except the WIA version, which acts very differently than the other two. The only way I could select the Isis version was to use the Xerox scan program, "One Touch" that came with the scanner, and it has a "Configure before Scan" command, and in IT, I could select the Isis driver, then quit. And start up Capture, and away I went... Back to normal, and pages in the correct order, and processing from the very start. Good luck!
