Hello!

I recently put up several Adobe Acrobat files on my website. They're all
protected from editing but they can be printed and viewed online and they
were created using a baseline of Adobe Acrobat 4.0. We're getting some odd
error messages from users that I was wondering if anyone could help
diagnose.

Error #1:
The web page just locked-up. I have Acrobat 4.0, when I click on the
download, Acrobat would open but the web page would be a blank white page
with nothing. Clicking the "back" button would have no affect. When clicking
on the close button, it closes the "Acrobat" and the Internet browser.

Error #2:
It pops up Acrobat plug-in with the message "could not find Acrobat External
Window Handler"

Error #3:
I tried to download your acrobat files. I'm downloading it to a MAC and
opening it in Acrobat 4.0. When it tries to open it I get the following
error message: "There was an error opening this document. This viewer cannot
dycrypt this document."

Error #4:
I did not get an error message when downloading the document.  I just did
not get anything.  The bottom of my screen said "done" but there was nothing
visible other than a white page.

Error #5:
I get no error message,  once I ask it to download to me all I get is a
blank screen.  I believe this has a lot to do with the firewall that is set
up through the corporation here.
