Wade, the issue is much deeper than the recent arrest. Let's put it this way, if you like hackers, then you can thank Dimitri for a lot of the "jacked up" prices of software. It is because of hackers (like Dimitri) that software is getting so damned expensive for us folks who actually purchase software instead of downloading hacks and stuff from warez sites. It is because of hackers that we have serial numbers and have to, now, call Microsoft everytime we want to install their products. It's one big pain in the ass. 

I don't always agree with these large corporations (a.k.a. Microsoft, Adobe, etc.)... but "hacking" is a whole other ball park. It's on the same wave length as believing the government is evil and we shouldn't pay any taxes. 

Dimitri grew up being a hacker... plain and simple. Now he's a "victim" by his own definition and now has a "cult following" that he has managed to conjur up. 

If "genious" hackers want to be recognized/hired by a corporation now days, there are channels to do it through... being an "illegal" hacker is not one of them. I'm afraid hackers are a dime a dozen now days and it isn't like the .com 90's where a company might consider hiring a hacker who broke into their mainframe... nowdays, hackers are very much frowned upon by companies (and us regular folks).
