Im new to the whole ebook thing. I purchased an ebook from Amazon.com, everything went fine. I installed Adobe ebook reader and downloaded the book with no problem but there was no warning that you download it to the PC you intend to use it on the most. I downloaded the ebook to my desktop thinking I would simply trnsfer it to my laptop only to find out that is not the case. Now Im stuck with the ebook on my desktop with no way of putting it on my laptop. I cant copy it,print it or transfer it so what good is a book I cant read when and where I want to? Maybe adobe should consider some sort of server side authentication method which will allow you an X number of transfers per year. I really dont see the advantage to the ebook reader has over traditional books, at least with paper books I can do what I want where I want with it. I guess learned my lesson Im very disappointed with this ebook reader but I will give ebooks one more chance I will see if Microsoft reader is any better....
