They are also, I don't know, would you say reluctant, to upgrade their drivers when Adobe releases a new version of Acrobat. Acrobat 5.x has been out since April of 2001 and most HP printers still have problems printing 1.4 level PDF files. Telephone calls and e-mails to H-P technical support concerning their non-functional drivers result in a vague response yes we are aware of this problem, or finger pointing at Adobe as the cause and, therefore, responsible for a solution, to this problem.

I strongly suggest that anyone and everyone that has to use Print As Image to get their PDF files through a Hewlett-Packard printer e-mail Carly Fiorina directly by going to http://www.hp.com/hpinfo/execteam/email/fiorina/index.htm <http://www.hp.com/hpinfo/execteam/email/fiorina/index.htm>. Maybe she can do something about the technical support staff's holier than Adobe atitude. Be sure to mention the names Tektronics and Xerox prominently in your message!
