I have recently installed Acrobat Pro 9.1. On my Mac using 10.5.6 I have also installed Microsoft Office 2008. Office was installed before Acrobat What I cannot do is make an office document into a pdf unless I print from the application. This is a problem because I want to process a large number of files and bind them. Using the tools in Acrobat is supposed to make this easy The error that comes up is Acrobat could not open XXXXX because it is not a supported file type etc Is there a know compatibility problem or does anyone have any advice or guidance The install of all applications was pain free Any help much appreciated Mark

How are you trying to create the pdf. Many features available for the Windows version of Acrobat do not work with the Mac version. On the Mac, there is no real advantage to using the Office PDFmaker as there is on the Windows side. Mike
