With my last PC WINXP and Software Office2000 and Outlook2002 it worked just fine .

But now my new PC is OS-Vista, Office2007 (Outlook2007)

This requires to update the MS-Sync Software - the file: drvupdate-x86.exe

and an update for compatibility to MS-Office2007 (Outlook2007) - different .pst architecture

the file: OfficeMobile_Licensed_0407_German.msi - e.g.

All Downloads from Microsoft Download Page

But in the meanwhile I have found two Readers - easy to install. as good as Adobe.
One is freeware <http://pocketxpdf.sourceforge.net/>
One is not freeware but not much better <http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/mobile/winmobile.htm>

My problem is solved - perhaps this post it's helpful for other Users
