I do not have Vista, I have XP, however I still prefer installing via
CAB files because I can keep them all on the flash card in my device.
Makes it real easy to reinstall everything after a hard reset.

Anyway... I was able to find the CAB file in:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft ActiveSync\Adobe

It was a weird file name like arceARMen_usr.PPC_2577.CAB.

I renamed it to adobe.cab, copied it over to my device, and presto.
Worked like a charm!
