Problem launching Acrobat Reader direct from a PDF-file

If I open Acrobat Reader and then open the PDF file it all works fine.

But if I want to open A.R. directly by just Clicking the PDF-file ,Acrobat Reader starts itself then when its almost finished it closes itself.

What can be the problem, the Association to Acrobat reader seems to work fine, but then when the loading of the file starts something goes wrong...
