Hello, this is really wierd. I am running windows mobile 6.1 on an HTC Touch diamond. I access my outlook emails on the phone. We have a VOIP telephone system via Gradwell and they run a fax to email system to my outlook email address. I can open all PDFs via the Adobe Reader LE 2.5, EXCEPT those forward as a fax to email. I can open these on my office pc, and once they are opened on my pc and saved I can then read them if I forward the document to my Touch Diamond, but if I try to open them for the first time on the Touch Diamond they show as an unknown windows doc when downloaded and wil not open. My IT support company and Gradwell have no clue why this should happen. Please help! Steve

First, know that this is not a forum for LE and LE has little in common with Acrobat PPC reader other than the ability to display pdf files.
I recommend that you download and install Acrobat PPC on your sync computer which will install in on your device the next time it is connected. That should deal with the "file association" error which I suspect is the cause of your problem.
You can confirm that this is a file association error by opening pocket file explorer, finding a pdf file and tapping it in file explorer to see if it will open in LE.
If not, install a pocket tweaks program such as the one at <http://tillanosoft.com> and use that to set a file association between LE and pdf files.

The need is not with fax to email, it's because most of these services convert faxes to either pdf or tiff files and opening those on a pocketpc with a tiny screen has problems, plus, the ppc acrobat software limits often cause problems.
Additionally, fax to pdf's are "images" of text rather than ascii text files which means the text can't be "wrapped" nor searched.
