I'm running Windows XP Pro SP2 and have installed Adobe Reader v8.1 twice. On both occasions I have had to uninstall it as when it is run within Firefox the Acrobat updater is silently invoked and runs continuously. The machine soon grinds to a halt with the processor running at 100%. Anyone else suffering this problem? Anyone got a solution? TIA. -- Frank (Beware of spam trap - remove the negative)
