Jean Thanks for your trouble shooting. I was facing similar problem. XP and Acrobat5 do not seem to be compatible at all. No one could guide me including Microsoft people in Australia. I am happy now with Acrobat 4.0 - can read documents atlast. Thank you trouble shooter. Regards Bal
