>I do not have OS 9 (or Classic) installed. I'm running pure OS X (10.2.4) only<< You knwo, I have heard numerous people say this in here, but I reviewed all the documentation for OS X provided by Apple, twice, and have yet to find anything that either recommends or condones this practice. Access to Classic from OS 10 was put there for a reason. THIS is the reason. If you insist on running "pure" OS 10, then guess what? No Acrobat, and no Reader. My advice is to either follow the directions, or learn to live with, or, in this case, without it.
