Dear Tom,

Thank you, also, for the tip.

I searched my PC for 'cooltype.dll' and found three files: Two in Adobe Photoshop, which was preinstalled on the computer, and one in the Adobe Acrobat Reader that I had downloaded. The Acrobat Reader file, although identically named, had a different file size from the other two -- those two were identical.

I am going to "hide" the Acrobat Reader 'cooltype.dll' file and substitute one of the Photoshop files to ascertain if perhaps that might be the problem.

Again, thanks.

Carol Ann....have you made any progress with your computer?

Jean
