I apologize for probably rehashing an old subject. I have read through the posts here and followed a link or two and not found the answer to my question.

I have Acrobat 5.05. I want create and distribute a book on CD. I want to autorun Reader from the CD rather than force the user to install Reader on his/her HD.

How can this be done? Do I need to download a copy of Reader to place on the CD? Can I use part of my Acrobat installation? [Some third party faqs suggest this is possible.] If I DL Reader or use files from my Acrobat installation, will the CD version be able to search the book? [The same third party faq mentions a seperate executable for Reader that will search, but I have not been able to find it for v.5]

Thanks in advance for your help...
