I've just encountered this problem:

When i try to download an online pdf file from the internet browser
(either firefox or IE) i get an error message which reads, "the disk
you were saving to or the disk used for temporary files is full. Free
some space on the disk".

I have 25GB of free space on my hard drive so its not full. I can save
the pdf files to a usb device and transfer from there but that is an
unacceptable solution in the long term...

Please help me as i'm writing my thesis and desperately need to be
able to download pdfs!
